上周onsite面试的一家银行，
昨天拿到了一个conditional offer,
确认我现在持有的是否是non-profit的H1b，说如果这样，可能会收回offer.
之后我就找了一家中国律师所，
中国律师说，可以直接从non-profit H1b transfer 到profit H1b,只要收到receipt就
可以开始工作。
但是银行的人给我说咨询了他们自己的律师，他们的律师说不可以，说这样会把他们公
司put on risk.
说银行可以提供H1b申请，但是不可能等我到10月1日。银行面试我的manager对我还比
较感兴趣，所以我今天晚上又给manager发了信，希望他能帮上忙。
版上的朋友有谁有过类似的经历么？
这种从H1b non profit转成 h1b for profit就必须等到10月1日才能转么？
如果您有类似经历的，请帮忙回复一下。
如果没有这方面经历，给现在还在用OPT的学弟学妹们说，第一份工作不要图容易或者
便宜找个non-profit的，后面转profit的很受限制，至少我现在还没有找到什么好办法。

好像是收到receipt就可以上班了。听说大学里的老师在公司里兼职，同时可以有两个
H1b。
但最好是等approval后再去上班。这样的好处是万一被据了，non-profit H1b还有效。

也曾研究这个问题，网上得到的结论是
“是收到receipt就可以上班”，这是对的。
但是，approve了之后，你的H1B就是10月生效，所以要停止工作，直到10月。所以你要
跟公司商量中间这几个月怎么办。你只能祈祷你的h1b收到收据以后，但是审批特别慢
，最好到10月，这样你就可以一直工作，可是这是我们的理想而已。公司是不是愿意
take这个risk。
没有aprove可以工作，approve了反而不能工作了，很多律师都说过这个很不合理，但
是现在规定就是这样子的。
