Typical responsibilities for this role:
•Collaborate with product managers & other members of the engineering
teams in the design and development of network systems
•Address product performance, reliability, scalability and
availability requirements
•Investigate, evaluate, and recommend new and emerging technologies,
techniques, and methodology improvements
•Document the designs in a structured and traceable manner
Desired Skills & Experience
•Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is
required.
Masters Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
New Grads must have obtained degree in order to start.
•Strong C/C++ design and implementation skills
•Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP and networking technologies
•Experience with server load balancing and security technologies are
highly desirable
•Significant expertise in building scalable, fault tolerant, and high
performance systems
•Multiprocessor & multi-core experience is desirable
•Application protocol expertise, including packet-level knowledge of
the protocols and
experience designing and implementing software to deliver these protocols
from a proxy or server with high performance and stringent security
requirements.
•Protocol expertise in one or more of the following protocols is
desirable - HTTP,
HTTPS/SSL, etc.
•Strong Embedded Systems and RTOS integration expertise
