Sounds easy, but only used Java for a homework back in college many years
ago. :-)
Please recommend a JAVA book:
1) to quickly pick up Java
2) focusing in networking programming
No GUI is needed.

find a receipe book from ORaily. Their recipe books are fairly detailed.
