Work on a global team delivering an instrument cluster containing a color
LCD display and a key component in the vehicle's infotainment system
· Design/Develop/Test embedded applications/middleware in C and C++
running on a Real Time Operating System
· Support HMI (Human Machine Interface) development and integration
with the vehicle's infotainment system.
· Work directly with project manager insure accurate assessments of
project status and risk
· Support requirements analysis and issue resolution using DOORS
· Track tasks using CM Synergy; track defects using Rational
Synergy
· Participate in code and subsystem reviews
· Work with hardware suppliers and 3rd part software suppliers to
resolve integration issues with their products.
· Configuration Management support
MAJOR JOB QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFIC SKILLS
· Required
o Bachelor of Science in EE, EET, CE, or CS (or equivalent experience)
o Minimum 5 years of embedded software development in C and Assembly (C++
a plus)
o Proficiency with software debuggers (JTAG), oscilloscopes, and related
test equipment.
o Ability to read/understand product schematics and mechanizations
o Experience with Commercial configuration management tools, preferably
Synergy.
o Experience with requirement analysis tools, preferably DOORS.
o Experience with software design and testing techniques
· Preferred
o Experience with software development for automotive electronics
o Experience with OSEK and AUTOSAR standards
o Experience with embedded Graphics Processing Units (GPU) and associated
API's.
o Experience with low level driver design (stepper motors a plus)
o Experience with CAN, LIN, ODI and other automotive communication
protocols.
o Familiarity with automotive infotainment media busses, preferably MOST.
o Experience with Object Oriented Design and Programming
o Familiarity with HMI development and tool chains, preferably Populus
o Familiarity with Renesas v850 family of microcontrollers
o Team leadership experience |
