1. If it is an OPT EAD, you can only get jobs related to your major, but you
can change jobs within your major.
2. If it is due to a pending I-485, and you are the primary applicant, you
must keep a full time job that is the same or similar to the one you held
when you submitted I-485, and at the same time, you can do multiple jobs
like Ebay, consulting, or your own business;
3. If it is due to a pending I-485, and you are the spouse of a primary

Actually my EAD card is due to a pending I-485, but my I-485 is based on
marriage to a US citizen. My situation is similar to (2), but I have
been a student all the time and don't have a full-time job. So can I do
a part time job now while I'm still a student?
