It is possible that team members pick A because A is easy to implement while
B is in fact a better and robust solution. This happens quite often in real
ity. On the other hand, as leader, the outcome of the product must be consid
ered, which means even if A is not as good as B, it's of less risk.
Balance the ability of the team and the outcome, you can make your decision.
