I am a little bit worried. Is it safe to give out these information?
If he only wants to check credit history, isnt the SSN alone is enough?

u should never give out credit card information and bank account number.
Asking SSN is very common though. |

still, it is not common practice to ask for credit card # and bank info.
Just tell them you do not feel comfortable to give out.
