the 永中office is not slow at all. And other reviewers from javalobby.org did
not report slowness either, actually, many were surprised by the good
responsiveness of this swing applicaiton. What is the configuration of your
pc? I guess the 永中office will have no problem to run with 256+ RAM, if no
other heavy applications running at the same time. It also starts faster than
MS Word.

When you try to open a MS Word or Spreadsheet file the FIRST TIME(!), the
EIOffice will try to do the coversion and translate the file to EIO format and
it will take lots cpu power and the EIOffice reponses poorly during this
period.
you can try to open the same file later after the conversion, it is fast. try
it yourself.

in Wuxi, Jiangsu.
