books, never use them, Java API is more clear and easier to read.
There are JBuilder books, I don't buy, just use it, seems quite straight
forward.
For these situations, if there are some concepts you don't understand, it is
good to buy a good; otherwise, online help and API is always more
straight-forward.

Acutally I found the online information are sometimes not
well written and hard to follow, especially when you are
new to a new field. Those links make you jumping from here
to there... I enjoy reading through a topic instead jumping
for every several sentences.
For swing, I recommend "Java Swing" by O'Reilly.
