We are currently looking for a Sr. Java Engineer in Chicago, IL
Position Summary:
HERE are looking for highly skilled senior Java software engineers to work
on internal tools, services and frameworks to support scaling the content
creation processes for our next generation 3D visual mapping platform. This
is an excellent opportunity to work with an energetic and dedicated
technical team on tough problems with direct connection to success of the
company.
Successful candidates will have experience in designing and building mission
-critical products in an Agile team environment, balancing the needs of
rapid release cycles with rock-solid quality and supportability.
Skills used on the project are Java SE/EE, Spring, REST web services, JPA
with SQL+NoSQL & GWT deployed to internal Linux & AWS cloud platforms.
Responsibilities:
As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to contribute at a high
-level to many aspects of our collaborative agile development process:
• Product and feature design
• Technical architectural design and review
• Expert software implementation and automated testing
• Promoting development standards, code reviews, mentoring
• Agile methodology maturity
• Build, release and deployment automation
• Product support & troubleshooting.
Required Skills:
• Strong recent core Java development experience, 3 years min, 5+
preferable.
• Strong recent Enterprise Java development experience, with focus
on web services (SOAP & REST), XML, Hibernate/JPA persistence and web
applications
• Exposure to the Spring Framework, including MVC.
• Unit testing with JUnit, MockObjects experience
• Strong Object-Oriented design skills
• Familiar with Eclipse, Tomcat, Maven
• Strong relational database experience, preferably some Oracle
• Excellent communicator, in-person and written
• Good general knowledge of web development, e.g. JavaScript, CSS,
HTML, HTTP protocol.
• Agile methodology focus
Advantageous :
• Test Driven Development
• AWS experience (EC2 deployment, SWF, SNS, SQS, RDS)
• Google Web Toolkit experience
• Sonar, CheckStyle, other code hygiene tools
• Electric Commander Build/CI
• Java Profiling & Performance/Load Testing | S*******C

已经面过一个高级JAVA开发的职位，可惜只进了第二轮，发现我对编程面试题还很不熟
