Recently, the CDS price for bank of america shot up a lot; it's almost the s
ame level as Lehman before bk. No idea if it's over-reaction or indicates re
al trouble ahead.

and future in the economy.
The main downside risk for banks now are the mortgages. At some point of the
future, the US residential housing market should recover, and the problem
will become less a problem, and they may be able to make money from housing
mortgages again.
