silver.
Silver is riskier than gold, but I don't think there's deflation since Feds
always print money.
I still believe inflation is on its way along with dollar crash. |

the deflation pressure started building since early Feb. when gold/copper
ratio bottomed. The market had not felt it until recently. I warned this
when I noticed it.

this is the whole point of this thread. looking at these metals behaviors,
you can often get some leading indications. When liquidity running into
gold, i.e., the money, and escaping from copper, i.e., the goods, it tells
you deflation is coming.
This selloff is just a warm up. It's very likely the stock market will fall
off the cliff this summer depending on how these metals go in the next month.

Fed has been playing a very dangerous game. inflation and deflation are
competing in the market and one would be dominant only for a certain period.
The commodity rise since last June is fueld by QE1 because these money needs
some time to run into the market.
We have not seen the effect of QE2 yet. It will come after the deflation
ruled summer. Debt in Europe is rising from the horizon. When it bursts, all
liquidity will evaporate quickly.

another leg up at least in gold before June.
Another possibility is that gold would sideway to 1400 area
untill June. After, we could see a massive explosion into 2012.
Either way, gold is a buy here. If silver can follow gold, it is a buy too.

long run out of my bullets since I all-in'ed PM two years ago. But I still
switched some holdings into higher-beta stuff today. Gonna be a fun ride.

gold marginal exploration cost is actually pretty high already, I believe it
's not much lower than 800
Silver 's exploration and producing cost is actually below 10 so the current
price has no support from this cost although there are other reasons silver
is soaring
