stocks below the price I sold previously. If I do this often, I beat myself
and beat the market. And, if I do this many times during a year, I beat the
market 10% at year-end.
This is exactly what I did during the past years. |

发帖数: 913 | 6 There are many funds. For example, Vanguard allow us to buyback a fund 2
months after it is sold. But, we do not have to wait 2 months, because we
can buy other similar funds.
BTW, the market always do sector rotation, between growth/value stocks,
between large/mid/small-caps, between domestic/international markets,
between developed/emerging markets. There are so many different ways to
buyback funds that have the most attractive risk/reward ratio.
Market sense is key to market timing.
BTW, I think gold/silver has entered a long-term bear market (at least 5
years)

These so called risk free bond is riskiest.

to be beaten by 90%. (All numbers are for illustration.)
I have been doing this for a long time. It worked until one day I found
I could not buy back the stock below the price I sold any more. e.g. If
I sold in June 2009, it will be very difficult to buy back below that.
As a stop-loss measure I was forced to buy back at a higher price.

lottery.
When I first touched stocks I remember someone in stock board said
NXG will gain 100% APY for the next 3 years. And people had every
reason to believe so. it is gold mining for christ's sake.
That was in 2005/6. Guess it didn't happen.

This year my 401K already beat S&P by 4.5%. I only worry I miss the train from now. If the market goes down more, no problem (let the entire world go down with me).
