GDX has more upside potential and more risk compared to GLD.
The risk for GLD is basically the risk for gold price.
The risks for GDX include not only the risk of gold price movement, which is
not controlled by the gold mining companies, but also other risks including
but not limited to management risk, operational risk, governmental risk and
credit risk. Depends on how the stock market evaluates these additional
risks, it may favour GDX over GLD or vise versa.

GDX is overbrought right now(11/12), short it or wait for a lower price to
buy in.
Personally, I like GDX.
One reason is GLD has lower revenue, 2nd reason is that there is no rules
for GLD to follow, 3rd reason is investing GLD for what? Nothing but keep
your money, not my personal style:) | f****t
