Beat the index by nearly 9% this week (+4% vs -5%), by far the biggest
gainer of the year. This is partially due to a good ER.
However, my estimate is complete crap this time. My error is
approximately double the average of analysts, and almost matches
the worst analyst. The stock seems to underperform the industry
severely for some reason. From the conference call I can see
that some analysts have more information than I do. |

My equity+commodity level has always been 80%-90% since early June, and I
lost about 10% since then while SP500 gained about 10%. What a loser in
stock picking and sector bet... I wanted to reduce equity exposure for the
past whole month, but couldn't find anything to sell because they really
didn't get infated in prices at all by the rally. Well, when correction/bear
comes, they do drop as much as they can.

stock portfolio fell a lot due to its risky nature (small cap and commodity
related).
Some fell so much I am tempted to buy some more if it keeps falling. |
