holdings from depositories in London, transferring them to a high-security
depository newly built at the city's airport, in a move that won praise from
local traders Thursday.
The facility, industry professionals said, would support Hong Kong's
emergence as a Swiss-style trading hub for bullion and would lessen London's
status as a key settlement-and-storage center.

should have triggered a break out. Based on the length and strength of
the event, I think it's time to buy gold.

s********n 发帖数: 1962 | 6 A milestone means it affects at least mid-term trend. If it's a mid-term
trend, 2 or 3 days is not too late.
However, I could be wrong. :)

s********n 发帖数: 1962 | 13 well, I know it's a small number. Hongkong has only about 2.1 tons
gold reserve as far as I know, but it has built a vault with a
capability much higher than its own reserve ...
After-event reason searching is very important, as long as what you
find is the real reason ... we small fishes never know important
news before hand anyway..

refusing to breakthrough $1000 margin.
As you pointed out, the breakthrough will be at least mid-term. So it may be
worth waiting to see if it is real.

That could also explain the rise of the silver in the recent days. The
Chinese government wants to diversify
into the gold and silver with their foreign reserve?
