i am talking about the following three situations? do u guys know how to
connect in these different environments? I want to transfer some files between
2 laptops.
1, within a LAN (two laptops sharing a DSL internet connection by using
DSL/router)
2, 2 laptops using a hub (hub with 4 identical USB ports) - i never know hubs
can used to connect computers-
3, just two laptops and one cross over cable

want to share a broadband connection, get a broadband router. If your router
doesn't have a built-in switch, then you will need either a hub or a switch.
But we are talking about a "network hub", NOT a "USB hub"!

发帖数: 10390 | 4 crossover应该比较快吧,而且比较省钱.
当然考虑到兼顾其他用途,router也不错.
usb连接比较罕见,估计花费比较大.
