About Strategic Planning and Analysis Team at USIC, Inc.:
Strategic Planning and Analysis (Analysis) team at USIC is a critical,
strategic group whose role is to:
1) Provide Internal Consulting to all Key Business units and highest
levels of leadership at USIC
2) Provide Analytical insights, support and tools to enable Business
Units and Leaders solve tough business issues and take strategic decisions
3) Support and improve the performance of all other departments at USIC
4) Conceive, create, and execute the next "game changing" or disruptive
analytical tool using research, technology, application, or process tools
to offer deep insights into key aspects of the business
5) Create and Manage very high-impact high-visibility tools such as
Performance Dashboards and Key Performance Indicator Reporting and Tracking
tools – which are used multiple times daily throughout the organization to
make tactical and strategic decisions
Analysis team at USIC reports up thru the VP A, who is also responsible for
new product development, creating new streams of revenue, and generally
transforming the whole business using technology as a big lever. Analysis
team is not just about spreadsheets and standard tools -- it is about
extracting useful insights to enable decision making and maximize
productivity and profitability.

Key Skill Sets:
· SQL Queries and Procedures - Proven competency and experience in
leveraging SQL to extract data and create reports in a very distributed
environment
o MS SQL Environment
· Advanced Reporting Tools
o MS Reporting Services
· Web Development using Java/JSP
· Web Development using generic tools such as Javascript/HTML
Microsoft Office mastery (especially Excel)
Qualifications Required:
· Bachelors Degree, in Engineering, Business or related field
preferred with 3+ years of development – preferably web development
experience
· Must have 2+ years experience in SQL
· MS Reporting Services
· Java / JSPXML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS,WCF
· High level of written and verbal communication skills
· Proactive with ability to conceive and implement creative
solutions to complex problems
· Ability to work on numerous projects at the same time in a high
pressure environment
· Strong organizational skills
Qualifications Preferred:
· Microsoft T-SQL Stored Procedure programming experience
· Excel VBA macro experience
· Web Development Experience
· Strong Analytical Experience
