then you should check local motels like motel 6, motel 8, econolodge etc,
some of them offer weekly rates around 170 plus tax = 26 dollar a day
I know u probably don't have credit cards, if you can find some1 who does
that can bid for a room on priceline.com it can be even cheaper |

打电话给传说中的wareen house，northwestern avenue，那里的确是month by month的，studio一个月505，one bedroom一个月595，可是到9月份才有空房

That won't help.
The hotels in small towns like Lafayette will not lower their price.
Just find a friend or a "SiXiong" "SiJie" and live in their living room for
a while.
Offer to pay them some rent and be grateful.
