rotten grass and they grow very fast -- almost a generation every two days.
Because we had some precipitation recently, some dead grass rotted.
If you spray yourself with some bug repellant such as cutter ( on sale at
walmart) you will drive them away, don't do it if you are a pregnant woman
though.
