case在security checks, 原文是
“We have placed your case on a processing hold because the required
security checks remain pending. Until we receive the results of these
security checks, we cannot move forward on your case. We require the results
of security checks before we make a decision on any pending case.
We cannot predict when we will receive the results of these security checks.
Please be assured that we will make every effort to make a decision in your
case as soon as the security checks are complete.
We hope this information is helpful to you.”
现在彻底糊涂了，还以为只要485要check,怎么140也要，是说我们的case还没有assign
给io吗？这要等到什么时候才会处理？请问有同学遇到过这种吗？真是等到花儿也谢了

被clear, 我们被check了7个月还得等不知道多长时间。这也太郁闷了，背景根本没有
什么敏感的呀。不知道该怎么办了。

发帖数: 22 | 11 刚刚google了一下，发现很多EB2140被security check的都等了2，3年然后就没有下文
了，还看到这段话“ some (not all) I-140 are sent for security checks. These
are not FBI fingerptints/namechecks and people should not confuse AOS
security checks with I-140 checks. The later usually happen if USCIS has any
doubt about any document submitted with I-140. For example, they may want
to verify your degree diploma or financies of your employer or whatever.
These checks are done by USCIS own misrepresentation/fraud detection unit at
USCIS headquarters. If people there are not too busy they can even select
random applications for quality review. USCIS states that they will refund
PP fees for such cases but only after this security review of I-140 is
completed without detection of any problems.” 好像很多EB2都是check employer
的，实在想不出我们niw什么地方出了问题被送去security check了，可能要等几年还
不知道有没有回应，是不是意味着我们这个140彻底杯具了。。。 |

140，
应该不是485。早知道可能会pending几年就不交485了。请问大家知道485可以
withdraw吗？这个被check的140是ld递的，请问我可以重新递交一个自己的140，然后
把485 link 到新的140吗？谢谢！

就算等2年再批，你也没关系，2年还不一定排的到呢。除非你不是按照中国大陆的排期
政策走，那可能就要急了。。。 |

，大部分被hold的都是需要雇主支持的那种。
我估计跟你交了485还是有点关系的。 |

在真希望只是他们的excuse.我们再等两周看看吧。希望跟
