我朋友的母亲（母亲）若干年前改嫁了一个美国公民（继父）
半年前朋友继父去世了（疑似小说情节）
现在母亲在和继父的家人办手续，朋友在东部某学校F1读大学。
现在母亲还可以移民拿绿卡吗？朋友他今年5月满21岁，还有机会申请作为他妈妈的儿
子同时申请绿卡吗？

went away.
But does it seem worth a try for now? I don't know if there is any known
similar case.

substitute I-864 sponsor. If I-130 never even started when citizen
husband was alive, the only chance is humanitarian purpose in this category,
in this case it is probably easier to go through asylum or withholding
removal than I-130.
What is mother's immigrant visa status now? |

一起“回”过美国）
所以似乎借助他申绿卡是不合情理/“利用感情”的
