律师的信里面提到：

petitions are normally processed through the US Consulate (a time consuming
process). You may wish to file your AOS - without including your wife at
this time - and then, once she has entered the US and will remain in the US,
file for her AOS at that time.
不知道这句话怎么理解 （上面两句不一定是指同一件事，我也没明白）。如果我先
file了485，然后我老婆再过来，可以再file485，有
什么不好的地方么？比如需要等多久才能拿到combo卡和绿卡呢？ | c**2
发帖数: 8496 | 2 if she is not in US now, she cannot file I-485. So you have no choice but
to 分别提交. If her intention in the next year or two is to be in US with
you, you should get her H4 visa(or she comes using B2, F1 on her own) to
come and file AOS.
If her plan is working/studying in China in the next 1 or 2 years, consulate
processing is perfect for her. |
