第一条里,我的做法是用了web of science的journal of citation reports数据库,在
exhibit index 里提到,例如
2011 Journal Citation Reports by Thomson Reuters for Plant Biotechnology
Journal, evidencing that it has an Impact Factor of 5.442, ranks 10th out of
190 journals in Plant Sciences category and ranks 16th out of 157 journals
in Biotechnology & Applied Microbiology category.
第二条里,我申请的时候有176个citations,大部分是独立citations. 我在google
scholar里查了RFE里提到的我的推荐人的citation,是3000多个,我也不知道他16000次
的数据是哪里来的. | z***b

---看来现在IO已经知道申请人如何pick领域的subject使自己成为top。其实IO的质疑
真的没有道理，说你用了个很窄的field，回复时，你就强调：有些scientist的研究领
域的确涵盖很大的范围，但你的的确是比较窄的范围。
第二条里,我申请的时候有176个citations,大部分是独立citations. 我在google
scholar里查了RFE里提到的我的推荐人的citation,是3000多个,我也不知道他16000次
的数据是哪里来的.
---IO可能搜了推荐人的citation,但有可能用的full last name+short first name (
may be no middle name at all)搜索得到的结果，这一条应该好回复。

关于第一点，我觉得你强调自己做的是交叉学科，所以所发journal当然是多个领域了
关于第二点，我觉得你可以看看同样时间段，那个推荐人的citation有没有你多，如果
你多，那就很好说了，如果你没他多，再看看independent citation的数量(同样时间段
），因为这帮大牛都奋斗这么多年，弟子朋友无数，所以citation很容易就涨上去，但
是如果算independent citation就说不上来了

和我发文章同样的时间段?这个时间段他已经成名了,挂名文章无数.
用他毕业后几年的时间来match我现在的时间？
推荐人已经是院士了，唉。。。

citation是多少。你最早发的文章在2010，那你2011年时，你的citation是多少。我只
是举例。
