一般大学CS Ph.D. 现在大公司Software Engineer
a. 3 IEEE trans, 1 book chapter, 1 so so journal, 7 IEEE conference regular
paper， 2 中文journal， 60% 一作，其他都是二作
b. 20多次Review, 3个杂志，若干会议
c. 引用英文只有10几个，中文20几个
大家觉得要怎么弄？ 谢谢。。 |

least three other researches in your team (could be a bigger team).
it's a big advantage that your manager supports you but make sure the
manager says yes provided that s/he understands the requirements.
lawyer and hr are easy to handle once you are backed up by your manager.

发帖数: 2328 | 7 for most cs phds, the biggest obstacles on the eb1b path, unlike the
postdocs or research scientists with university labs who try hard to prove
their positions are "permanent, and full-time", are the ability to
demonstrate that your job duties are more research-oriented instead of
development-oriented. typically a cs phd's role in the team sits across R&D,
so it's purely art of presentation in your petition letter to convince the
IO that you are more like a research software engineer instead of a pure
developer.
if your manager processed similar pr applications before, then it is of
little
problem as s/he knows how to tweak the job description. but i've seen cases
that managers signed up for stuff that they didn't fully understand making
empty promises just to retain employees. be ware. |

hr经理商量过，估计最终智能水漂，无法兑现。

如果公司从来没有给人办过EB1,你就要靠你自己上上下下teach他们:什么是EB1,我符合
EB1. 要你teach的原因是:你一说EB1,HR网上一搜:你小毛孩儿离那标准差的远,还要找
律师,写推荐信......还是办perm吧.
如果公司给人办过EB1,manager同意了,HR应该没有问题,你有多大能耐manager说了算. |

感觉你3篇IEEE trans journal还是挺强的
只是citation少一些
关键是一些大公司明确规定不办eb1，所以你要自己确定
反而一些小公司更灵活
另外你的title有点麻烦，感觉如果是software development engineer更好些
反正得往research上靠，不要让IO以为你就只是个码工而已
