passport is too close to expiry.
Were you using a passport with less than 6 months validity when you enter?
Anyway, you must have left the US before your I-94 expires. Now you are OOS.
OOS for 180 days or less does not affect 485.
If you are OOS for more than 180 days, please do not leave the US as you
will not be allowed to reenter, even with AP. You should wait until your LD
becomes a citizen (or you marry some citizen) and then he/she can sponsor
your green card.
