for status, and called us back the next day saying that my wife's 485 is "
pending and ready for final decision". Today my wife's 485 is approved!
It looks like InfoPass sometimes does help :)

主申请人都已经批了２个多礼拜了 ，副申请人没任何动静正常么？
看到trackitt上有人这么作，不知道有谁试过么？
1. Phone USCIS Customer Service and open a "File Separation" Service Request
(SR). If you get a cooperative officer you will be able to open an SR
otherwise they will ask you do #2.
2. Take an InfoPass appointment with your nearest USCIS office to get more
information. Again if you get a cooperative officer, they will be able to do
a lot like sending an email to the adjudicating officer, etc.
3. Then if 30 days has passed since your approval (I couldn't wait - I did
it in less than 30 days), you can submit an USCIS
Ombudsman Online Case Assistance Request https://cisombvos.dhs.gov/vos/
form7001.aspx detailing everything that you have already done and submitting
everything they ask for.
4. Finally you wait (patiently)
5. If you are unable to wait then you can also contact your local US
Congress representative or Senator (fortunately I did not have to do this). |

service request。问他是不是background check没有完，也不肯说，看来得指望

The officer told me my wife's case is "Pending and ready for final decision"
. So it sounded like my wife's background check is finished, but the officer
won't confirm :(
However, the officer was trying to help by offering to send TSC an email
asking about my wife's case. Is this so called Service Request? Hope her
case can be approved soon.
