本来一切都准备好了，但是律师突然说博士期间的工作必须得单独证明outstanding才
行。要我等到现在的scientist工作3年期满后再申请。
请问大家是怎么说服律师的。先谢过了！西面是律师的信。
The regulations specifically state that "Experience in teaching or research
while working on an advanced degree will only be acceptable if the alien has
acquired the degree, and... if the research conducted toward the degree has
been recognized within the academic field as outstanding." Therefore, we
will have to make the added argument that your work during that period was
outstanding as well. | m******z

题了。

发帖数: 446 | 4 我是找系里的PhD Program Director写了个letter证明我在PhD期间的工作经验，没问
题的。
To whom it may concern:
This is to certify that Mr. XXX was a PhD student in our Computer Science
Department at XXXX during the period Jan. 2007-Dec. 2010. He was supported
by our department as a Teaching Assistant/Research Assistant (TA/RA) during
his PhD studies. The support paid for his tuition/fees and provided a
stipend of approximately $18,000 per academic year. His duties included the
following:
• Conduct research in Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, and Image
Processing;
• Teach undergraduate lab courses in Java Programming, Data Structures
, and Algorithms.
He did an excellent job both as a TA/RA and as a PhD student. He earned his
PhD degree in Computer Science in December 2010.

poster award, 2个导师推荐信都具体介绍了我的研究的impact and outstanding
status.可是我的律师还是说有risk.我再和她商量商量吧。我倒是不担心被拒，就是说
服不了律师。 |
