I have just filled my I-485 application under my father‘s EB2, one month
ago. And I get a job offer starting at early this September. I don’t
know if I can still apply for Hi-b? If, in a rear case, my application get

Once you get EAD, you can use it untill 485 approved. | e******r

发帖数: 6523 | 7 What status are you now in? I think that as long as you are not without
other status, or you are in AOS, then you can do change-of-status to H1 in
US. Also, what kind of job are you getting? Is it restricted by the quota?
If yes, then you can apply for it only on Apr 1 and you can start working
only from Oct 1. I think that if your father's status is safe, it's better
that you apply and use the 485 based EAD.

is at industry sect, the condition of H1-b is just like you said. My father
's I-140 has been proved, and I have applied for EAD. Just that I feel not
100 pencent sure before I actually get the EAD and Green Card.
To play safe, I intend to apply H1-b, but I don't know if, by law , can
apply for Hi-b now? | s*****r
