听朋友讲，学校申请EB1B可能等待很长时间。又听说，EB2-NIW最近也很快。主要是考
虑老婆找工作，以前从来没考虑过这个问题。对绿卡是文盲。请大牛们指点一二。
问题1
哪一个省钱又快一些？
问题2
同时申请EB1B和EB2-NIW的话， 先提交拿一个好？

you have everything (reference letters, petition letter) ready, you can
file 140 and 485 immediately.
"又听说，EB2-NIW最近也很快。" Not really, it's just that the PD is moving
forward much faster than before (not moving at all before). NIW is still EB2
, and you need to wait for Pai Qi.
EB1B is always current, without Pai Qi, and for your wife to have an EAD
through a pending 485, EB1B is a natural choice.

发帖数: 6523 | 3 The efforts to prepare for EB1B and NIW are similar, since you need to get
reference letters for both, etc.
You could apply for both to be on the safe side, but you can also consult (
email or call) all the lawyers on board to get a feeling on the strength of
your case then decide which way to go.
