是介于EVL和推荐信之间。作为推荐信，又感觉不够强硬，但是比一般的 EVL要详细不
少。
请问这封信是作为employment verification letter好，还是作为推荐信好呢？
信原文如下：
I am writing this letter to verify that Dr. AAA is currently employed full-
time as a Senior Controls Engineer at Company xxx Inc. I fully support Dr.
AAA’s petition for permanent resident status in the United States.
As Dr. AAA’s direct manager, I am very familiar with his research
capability and performance. Dr. AAA has made exceptional contributions in
the field of diesel engine control and diagnosis since he joined Company xxx
in November 2010. More specifically, Dr. AAA has developed and implemented
several new control features to enhance the engine performance, and ensure
engine emissions regulation compliance, including exhaust brake control and
diagnosis, misfire detection strategy, relative compression test strategy,
etc. Those new control and diagnostic features developed by Dr. AAA have
been launched into Company xxx production engines.
Dr. AAA is currently working on OBD boost system monitor development for
2013 highway truck diesel engine certification. His work is critical to the
advanced on-board diagnostic (OBD) strategy development for the next-
generation diesel engine to ensure compliance to the new U.S. governmental
emissions regulations. I am confident in Dr. AAA’s extraordinary research
ability, and strongly believe that he will continue to contribute to
advancing the diesel engine control technology to reduce the diesel
emissions levels, improve our environment, and enhance the fuel economy.

HR的人我实在是不想理他们了。
