发帖数: 6523 | 5 Yes. It might be better not to put it in citation. If you think your
citation is not strong enough, just don't mention this number, but print out
several pages of each paper, then it looks more. I did that.

这"几个"公司的专利 is indeed a good point, as they are the major players in
this industry, and your paper contributed to this industry or academic field.
If you could find a letter from any of those companies, that would be even
more convincing. I understand that it's extra effort and they may not really
respond, but it's worth a try. Otherwise the print-out is good enough.

以下供打算要某些变态公司推荐信的童鞋参考：
他们的推荐信最难要，前后至少2个月。hr找公司律师扯皮好几个来回，先说
不行，后来找manager，律师说一定出的话，可以用公司headletter，
但不能用来支持绿卡申请。于是我删了所有关于绿卡的信息，改成
testimony了，其实吹嘘部分一字不变。就这，还要求该信件confidential。

Actually, "testimony" is the core of each reference letter, or each good
reference letter.
A letter filled with fancy words without substance is greatly discounted.

专利引用是证明人家东西与你的不同或人家比你的技术好
还是人家专利是基于你的工作基础上的。

我的一篇三作的文章被一个生物技术公司的专利引用了200＋次，如果不能算在
citation内的话，我就没发跟average citation比了，其它引用１２０＋，可是文章１
５，摊下来也太少了，咋办啊？大家给出点主意吧，多谢了！心里老是没底啊！ |
