They should have got your package as USPS said so, and you may want to
contact them to get a handle on your case using your name, etc. Otherwise
without a receipt number, it's not easy to inquiry about it later.

If that LZ's case was e-filing, it should be fine.
Anyway, the receipt date could be one day later than the delivery date.

online.

Also, you could turn on the email notification online there.

but never received any email or text message after the physical petition
package was shown as delivered via usps express.
Status online shown as "initial review".
I called uscis but they said they have no way to track if they actually
received my package and I should just keep waiting. Is this the right way to
deal with my case?

I am speechless. At least they may pretend to say that they have received it
. Would the applications all piled up somewhere and then IOs pick one out
whenever s/he wants and wherever s/he wants?
I really don't know much further on how this should be done. If without PP,
there's no way to speed up things nor get detailed info.

receipt number, personal info and that's what she came up with after
researching for some time. Guess maybe they don't care too much for NIWs.
