otherwise it won't work. Besides, many institute/University will not sponsor
EB1B for postdocs.
$6000 is a lot, but if LZ institute can cover the 140 lawyer fee, then it's
a good deal. Also, be careful about H1B, LZ will need to refile H1B if you
change the title, and LZ need to make sure his salary is enough for the new
title.

for the lawyer. Plus, lose $6000 in the housing. Plus, I am going to have a
second baby in 2 months. Now I feel serious financial stress.

human resource people. but I'm pretty sure new H1b is required, otherwise
there will not be any prevailing wage problem.
The money is a lot. but if you can get your GC within your second year
postdoc, and find a job in a company instead of doing a third year postdoc,
you can earn all your money back! |
