交了485，快4个月了，一点消息也没有，就连工卡也没有音讯，请教各位大侠，是不是

1. out of legal staus during staying at US
2. Crimial Issues (such as arrested)
3. miss the finger print or RFE or interview appointment.
4. lie or provide the fake application materials.
5. Visa was not available at the time of filing I-485. (I know USCIS should
not accept documents in that case, still if they accept in error it could be
reason for denial)
6. Applicant is out of country at the moment of filing
7. Applicant doesn't have valid non immigrant status at the moment of filing

application but before EAD comes? Can the 180 rule be applied in this case?
Also, what will be the consequence of submitting an expired passport for the
485 application? Must it lead to RFE?

１８０天rule only apply on EB based green card application.

No. You can change back to H4 if your husband holding H1 visa, File I-539.
After 485 denial, you are not eligible to renew your F1.

我LD以前是F1，跟我一起申请485，后来被拒，也没离境，你可以保持现有的F-1身份(I
-20有效期），理论上不能renew I-20. 但学校还是可以帮你renew. 我LD就renew了。
经过反反复复的appeal-denial-reopen-RFE-approval，我LD也绿了，没事

这个在网上好像有点小争议. 你可以读一下245K条款, 我个人认为245K是包含了485以后的.只要总天数少于180天.

读一下245K条款, 觉得递交485后的status 就安全了。
“for purposes of the 180-day counting period, calculation of the number of
days for failing to maintain status or violating a nonimmigrant visa will
stop as of the date USCIS receives a properly filed adjustment of status
application.”
但仍算非法工作， 算在180天里：
”the filing of an adjustment of status application will not stop the
counting period of unauthorized employment.“
以后的.只要总天数少于180天.

怀孕了没保险如果你们低收入的话应该可以申请mediaid之类的，问问身边的人吧。如
果不行的话最后可以和医院谈价钱的。见过不少和医院谈到package价格比自己买保险
更划算呢。

收到邮件后马上在这个老帖上更新一下，希望和我们一样有漫长等待经历得同志们要有
信心，结果总会来得，只是过程比较痛苦而已。
在4个月的时候我们做了service request，但没什么作用，之后每月做一次，得到的答
复一直是：等！！！反正，一到时间就去做sr，总比干等着强！
希望大家都早日有好消息 |

TSC做SR没什么用，但是SR在NSC看起来还是很管用的。
