来吃亏的还是自己。感觉就像吃了哑巴亏，只能忍着。
上来抱怨一下，象大家讨教一下跟律师打交道的技巧？怎样催律师干活又不伤害其感情

发帖数: 9 | 6 I was also in the same boat. Following are what I did:
1. I told the lawyer to gave me whatever in his hand and then I would work
on the rest; he only needs to review and provide feedback (you can be polite
by saying: I think it will work better since I am the one who know my
research best);
2. Schedule a meeting (or conference call) with the lawyer for the first
review; then, you schedule the next meeting at the end of first meeting (DO
NOT FORGET); and repeat until you get everything done; do not ever let the
lawyer off the hook.
My lawyer did not object this arrangement since this way I actually saved
him a lot of time. He still got paid the same way.
As for "hurting their feelings", you must be kidding. From my experience, "
shame" is not something you should natually relate to lawyers. There is a
reason why lawyer is at the top of list of professions Americans distrust
most.
Technically, you need to be polite and professional; but mentally, you
should never feel sorry. You pay them.
Anyway, do not count on the lawyer for the PL. Advice on this board is much
more useful than that from the lawyer.
