I saw the HR at the univeristy Thursday.
I knew from the HR that the university I am working for is e-varified.
She asked me to fill my I-9 and other forms.
My EAD for my OPT start Sep. 1st.
She informed the department the next day that right now the university
couldn't hire me pending e-varify procedure.
Any one with E-varify experience please tell me how long did you wait for
this
e-varify procedure? (it is not for OPT extension.) Thanks a |

When I started to work for my university with my EAD(OPT),no need to wait.

I talked with the HR that afternoon. It is a standard procedure for E-
Varified employer.
Whenever an everified employer hire someone foreign the person's information
must first be e-varified before hiring.
I just don't know how long it will take for the e-varify procedure.
