contribution一项， 请大家帮我分析一下应该如何准备：
Evidence of your original scientific, scholarly contributions of major
significance in the field.
a. The petitioner asserts that he has made numerous original scientific
contributions of major significance in the field of XXX; he has published
his work, his work has been cited independently a small number of times; he
has served as a reviewer for several journals; and presented his work at
conferences.
b. This criterion has not been met because the evidence submitted doesn’t
show that your contributions are considered to be of major significance in
the field of endeavor. The USCIS only confirm a small number of independent
citations to your published work. Self-citations and citations made by your
research group are not considered.
c. The service acknowledges receipt of your publication and citation record.
Now please submit updated documentation of the citation record regarding
your publications including printouts of search results from Google Scholar.
Please note that such printout must contain the title, authors, and
publication information. Search results do not contain such details will not
be considered evidence.
我有几个疑问：
1. USCIS在上面没有提到我的推荐信？一般RFE还要几封？
2. 我的citation比较弱，特别是independent的， 该如何应对？
3. 最后一段，是要update最新的citation吧？这个不是在说我递交的材料格式不对
吧？现在citation估计只会多几个而已。 | l*****d

复的。我版只负责i485相关事宜。但是，这些问题我也可以稍微回答下。
1.能找到独立推荐人再提供几封推荐信当然是有帮助的。
2.仔细挖掘现有的independent citation,找这些引用的人写推荐信
3.说是用google scholar那就用吧。
4.是否有专利、书、工业界的实际应用，都可以算contribution的

发帖数: 988 | 3 You should provide independent citation only, remove all the citations from
your coauthors.
Print out the citations from google scholar or web of science or scopus,
better list only independent citations. Google scholar usually will mix
independent and dependent citations. You can prepare a list of independent
citation for each of your papers and add all the citations together.
You can also print the cited articles which use a large or several
paragraphs to discuss your work and influence.
List all the countries, institutes that cited your work. Give them all the
emails inquire or discuss your results or code.
For the journals the cited articles being published, you can also list the
index to show how good the journals are. |
