Well, which category is yours in? People in EB23 are afraid of PD retro (排
期倒退), so they'd rather submit the 485 whenever their PD is current.

, but I think I will leave when I get my PD. So maybe when my PD is current,

submit 485 in certain period of time after PD is current.

485's can be submitted only when the PD is current, and so far, only EB1 485
is current, which can be submitted together with 140.
For other categories, one needs to submit 140 first, then the 140 RD would
be the PD, and s/he can wait to submit 485 when his/her category's PD is
current.

I am considering what I can do after I get my PD. I will get my PD in my
current company, probably. I will switch my job then. The new company may
have some policy such as file green card after 1 year. So I am considering
how about my PD changes to current when I work in the new company but they
are not ready to file my 485? I can wait as long as I want to submit my 485
after my PD gets current?
