标 题: change job after NIW 140 approval

LD filed NIW 140 and get aprroved. However, we could not file 485 now
because of the 485 backlog. LD's H-1B is approaching 6 years (a little bit
more than 5 year), and he wants to change his job beacuse his current
company is planning to lay off people in May. My question is,
(1) Since NIW does not require employee sponsor, I assume he can ch | S*****n

a 3-year extension.

or apply a completely new H1b based on the new employer?
