I am renting out one room in the townhouse in South Philadelphia(zip code:
19148). Close to Target, Ikea, Marshall, Shoprite and most amenities.
Rental: $425(utilities & internet included) OR $400(pay 50% electricity bill
), month by month, due on 1st of each month, deposit needed for final month
rent
Parking: free street parking
Transportation: 1 min walk to bus station, 4 miles biking to Drexel/Penn, 5
miles biking to Temple, approx. 17 mins drive to both(I guess it takes long
due to local traffic)
House basics: Living room/dining room/kitchen downstairs, two bedrooms
upstairs, 1 and ½ bathroom.
Neighborhood: very safe, I live here for over 2 years, people are friendly
and always watch out for me when I am away.
Myself: late 20s female working professional, quiet, clean, and friendly
Recommend for: students/visiting scholar in Penn, Temple, Drexel OR working
professional
