价格：两个房间的价格都是$425每月，外加上utilities
（包括电、水、高速网络等，夏天大约是每人$60，冬天开暖气时会多大概$100的暖气
费）
布局和设施：
- 一大一小两个房间，小房间配备书桌和床，大房间没有家具。
- 两间房间都在三楼（通风采光良好）
- 一楼有大客厅，有电视和沙发；
- 厨房空间也很大，有两个大冰箱；
- 地下室有免费的洗衣机和烘干设备，还有很大的储物空间；
- 有很大的前后院（可以进行室外运动和BBQ）；
- 免费停车车位（不是路边停车车位）；
周边和交通:
我们的公寓位于Watertown Square 和 Newton Corner之间，周围的设施齐全，并且治
安环境良好。乘坐巴士只需20-30分钟即可到达BU和哈佛大学，50分钟可以到达东北大
学(如搭乘快速巴士，只需35分钟到NEU)。并且每天都有往返于Downtown的快速巴士，
只需30分钟即可到达Downtown。周边交通不拥挤，开车尤为方便，只要不到30分钟就能
到达Downtown。（我们的这位美国舍友有车，他有空的时候，也可以载你一程）。
周围在步行距离内就有很多商店，包括 Stop & Shop (超市), CVS, Bank of America,
Starbucks, Quiznos (三明治店), 还有意大利餐馆等等。
舍友情况：
现在公寓里已经住了两个人（一位是东北大学的中国研究生，另一位是热爱中国文化非
常友好的美国人）。我们可以一起聊天（English Please，不管你的英语水平如何，只
要你愿意开口说就行），可以一起看电影，也可以偶尔一起出行游玩。我们比较喜欢安
静，所以请不要在家举办吵闹的Party。
租约：新舍友必须签今年9月至明年8月底为期一年的租约（这是房东要求的）。

Housemate Wanted for Furnished Room in Spacious 4 Bedroom Apartment in
Watertown from September or August.
Price: We have two rooms available, either is $425 per month plus utilities
(usually about $500-550 total per month); parking and in-unit laundry are
included for free. Utilities we must pay include: gas heat, electricity, hot
water, and internet (high-speed wireless). Note that the utility bill
varies by season, it is lower in the summer and higher in the winter due to
the cost of heat (the above figure is about average). The room includes a
bed and desk.
Layout and Environment: The apartment is laid out over 3 floors: the first
floor has a large living room, kitchen, and a smaller spare room. The second
floor has 3 bedrooms (including the two available), and a bathroom. The two
available rooms are about 25-30 square meters. The third floor has another
bedroom. There is also a basement for storage and laundry. The apartment is
located in a 3-unit house with a large shared backyard and front yard.
We are located in a quiet, suburban neighborhood, which is very safe.
Lease: Prospective housemates must sign a lease from September 2011 through
August 2012. We are just roommates sharing the rent, so we use a lease only
because the landlord requires a one year lease and we don’t want to be
stuck with the bill if someone needs to move out.
Current Housemates: The two housemates who will be living through next year
are both graduate students at NEU, and we prefer that you be a graduate
student as well (although not required). No big-time partiers please! We
enjoy cooking together, having good conversations, and watching movies.
We are one American and one Chinese: international students are especially
welcome; however, please be willing to speak English (your level doesn’t
matter, just willingness to use it).
Transportation: The apartment is located between Watertown Square and Newton
Corner. We are a 20-30 minute bus ride from Harvard or BU, and a 50 minute
trip from NEU (although there is also a daytime express bus to Downtown
Boston and Chinatown that takes less than 30 minutes). It is very convenient
for driving, one can reach the center of the city by car in about 30
minutes, and there is rarely traffic (also, off-street parking is included
in the rent). Many shops are available within walking distance, including a
Stop and Shop (supermarket), CVS (pharmacy), Bank of America, Starbucks,
Quiznos (sandwich shop), an Italian Restaurant, and more.

Furnished room available from Sept 1 in spacious apartment in Watertown! $

to downtown by bus or car, a quick drive to school. Parking and laundry are
included. Roommates are male: 2 Chinese and 1 American, a great chance to
practice English!
