可是这次是租私人的townhouse，也没经过代理公司。我们自己签的lease

sure that you are good tenant-- good credit, stable income, no criminal
record. Otherwise, how they can protect their protect if you don't pay rent
after you move in ? It is very expensive if they need to evict because of
not paying rent, so people need to screen tenant before that.
