， 都比美国的便宜。街头的小吃、糕点也比美国便宜。大概比较适合逛街吧， 如果上
网找deal, 就没有戏了， 因为香港几乎地方太小， 没有什么网上购物。

what I don't like most is the altitude they treat the people from mainland
China. Some time I talked Putonhua, they will think you come from a small
village and show some altitude. If you talk English, the service people
altitude is different. My parents live here with me now, and they feel the
differenc much. Since the taxi driver and service people in the Hotel are
rude to them once.

I know HK is more interesting than US. but there are more and more people in
all the shopping malls. It is impossible to feel the joy of shopping in HK
even it is called the paradise of shopping. especially in The new city plaza
of Shatian, you could see the crowd everywhere.
I think some people like HK more, others like US more. It all depends on the
personality and background of the person. So your friend want to go back to

你周围的人大多崇尚名牌（这是香港人的文化），这些东西的价格是美国的几倍你很容
易计算。-----工作了肯定要买好些的，穿得体面些的衣服。不可否认香港人名牌效应
还是有的。但是似乎整个中港台，远至日韩都是这样的崇尚名牌。当然美国这边穿得很
随性。
你平时的中餐，很可能比你美国的中餐要消费高，因为你不可能去挤那种最普通的茶餐
厅。----囧囧。。。你平时吃饭都是去高级中餐厅么？如是，那当然鬼。普通茶餐厅是
白领去的，消费在30多，包括一杯饮料或者中汤。上班族的午饭都是在30-50元，其中
可以吃中西餐套装或者日式套餐。如果你觉得自己是高受入中或者任职高级管理层，以
上的入不了口，当然也有更贵更好的。 |

床短了不能退，买沙发要软的给了个硬的，我听说一朋友买了一个42寸彩电然后要求不

你是不是买了clearance?或者是年底清货大特价那种？如是，当然不能退不能换了。一
般他们都会在店里用个大牌子标明什么东西不能退不能换之类的，可能你没看到。
我之前买G2000买西服买衬衫都是不许退换的。因为都是很大的折扣。美国这边的
clearance和某些很大的折扣是不能退换的，当然收据也会标明的，你不知道么？
我妈试过买隔天就过期的牛奶。当晚我气炸了，第二天去店里换，本来不换的，就说了
店长几句就给换了。有理就可以大声说。建议你每次买东西付账的时候看清楚，不然吃
亏是自己。我还在美国也买过标价是打折，但收据是原价的情况。基本上，是他们出错
可以讨回，如果是你自己看错就讨不回了

rude to my family. I think when one speak Madarin, Some people would look
down on you, especially the people who are in the blue colar class.
Anyway, when I am in America and in China, I never think people could be
rude to you for no reason, or the only reason is that you speak Madarin. and
they think you come from Mainland. It is funny though. Now people in the

All the people I met so far are very polite, and helpful.
Also I don't find HK that expensive except housing.
Of course I live in NT, and I used to live in Northeast US.
