I know how you feel. I was there a couple of years ago.
Problem for us is we don't have experience, even no intern experience.
that means we have nothing to offer.
try your school's career fair. that's a good chance to talk to
those HR guys in person. and more importantly, the employers who come
to the career fair expect you don't have experience.
U of A has this career service called CAPS, which i found very helpful.
they have all the "weapons" you need for the "battle field"
