well, I am not very familiar with headphones, but their categorization is
different from speakers. some basic speaker enclosure designs are sealed,
ported, and open baffle. open baffle maybe closer to what you would call an
open headphone, but it's a rather exotic design. what you see on the market
is mostly ported, not open baffle. so here I will try to describe a few
