22日，特朗普在白宫提前录好的讲话中猛批《巴黎气候协定》，称其“要毁灭美国”。

上午10点，开幕仪式结束后，各国领导人进行了有关“疫情防范与应对”的视频会议，而特朗普早就离开白宫，前往弗吉尼亚州打高尔夫球，白宫也无代表发言。
