后面可以直接接自己的路由。
另外一种入户方式是同轴电缆进来，然后进入 Fios Gateway Router，
那个破玩意相当于一个 Moca adaptor + 路由的二合一 （从上网的
意义上说。当然还可能有电视/点播之类的）。
如果只有网络，也可以找个 moca adaptor + 路由， moca adaptor
比较贵，但是可以用 mi424wr 重新设置后代替， mi424wr 极其便宜，
egay 上面连同运费 10 块左右即可 bid 到（老版本，good enough)。

changed one output capacitor and all OK).
Sometimes, just reboot the ONT will solve the problem,
call to ask for a reboot or do it manually.

my modem at all (or router)
On the other hand, if you use verizon's router, they
know everything, including all the password you set
to the router.

you don't need to wait.
You can reboot the ONT yourself--just disconnect the battery
backup and the power supply (Both of them!), wait 1 minute,
plug again.

我最近安装tech给我送了一个不要钱(网上标价150刀),default setting 比我的R7000
default不知道差到哪里去了.
wifi信号弱,upnp减速,完全就无语了.
懒得研究怎么优化了. 估计硬件就不行

一个.
upnp是不安全,不过我自己家里用,没有问题的.
但是 那个router性能真的不行啊. 我家用homerun cable card, 然后用那个Quantum
就卡得要死,换了我的R7000就不卡. 同样wifi coverage也是一样. 卧室用Quantum 就
没信号, 用R7000满格....
所以不要迷信, 该怎么烂还是怎么烂的.

你家house大， 而且实时传输HD MPEG2需要强信号， 我也用homerun cable card，
Router 在地下室，2 楼放HD TV 一点都不卡。 最好是稳定性， 可能mac的AC和其他
router不太兼容， 试过的几个品牌都老是掉线，需要重启， 只有Verizon FiOS
Quantum Gateway 1 年不需重新启动 ， 带MOCA，不用重新布线。

所有的信息verizon都能从你的router上面拿到. 你真够无私.
说了几句这个router不好,个人觉得很客观,说了实际情况,不明白怎么惹到你了.
Amazon的review 也有很多4.3 星 80多review, 我自己比较了以后换的R7000, 8000多
review 也是4.3 不明白结论怎么得出来的.
如果说你是Quantum Gateway的卖家,sorry,不好意思了,但是这东西就是烂,我还是要说
的.
