你那四万，够算好多年，而且不用担心server maintenance

也想过上云。两个担心一个问题。
第一个担心，legal/regulation 那方面过不了关，或者太麻烦。
第二个担心，100Gb or more data upload to cloud 需要很多时间吧。
一个问题：
如果上云的话，还需要system admin吗？

Problem is the cost of data upload and download. I think amazon charge for
data download. I have heard story that most of your cost will be due to data
download.
If you handling patient data, there is also the problem of confidentiality.
Although I am not doing cloud myself, I prefer to have some hardware locally
to start with and explore the cloud option down the road.
