发帖数: 529 | 1 前几天把HD 7770 退掉（不能升级driver的问题），入了那个MSI GTX 460的卡。卡本
身还不错，运行3DMark 分数多了200多分。
问题是这个GTX 460 在idle的时候居然不自动降频。GPU clock始终保持810MHZ，温度
相应保持47度（室温25-27）。因为始终高频率，功耗也高，电源风扇没事就呼呼扇。
开始怀疑是 MSI Afterburner的问题，结果删掉还是照旧。上网找了半天，终于发现了
解决方法。现在idle时的温度是 34-35度。频率降到 51MHZ。

Saving energy when using multiple monitors
Since when NVIDIA graphics cards GDDR5 is used as video memory, there is a
limitation in the power-saving features. More than a single display with
different resolutions/timings on the graphics card should be connected, thus
preventing the driver that automatically turn down in energy-saving "
performance States" (P-States).
The reason for this is memory, which may cause flickering when changing the
P-States according to NVIDIA in a hardware limitation when using GDDR5. This
problem is video cards therefore also not limited to NVIDIA.
Unfortunately, the driver offers the user no choice to take flicker in order
to save power instead. A new feature now dedicates this fact "multi display
